Kiaan’s Fine Indian Cuisine is hands down the best Indian restaurant in San Clemente! While the portions are very small, I had the lamb vindaloo and it was absolutely incredible — rich, flavorful, and perfectly spicy with tender pieces of lamb that just melted in my mouth. The garlic naan was fresh and fluffy, and everything was served hot and beautifully presented. The staff was so friendly and welcoming, and the service was quick without ever feeling rushed. You can really tell the food is made with love and authenticity. If you’re looking for delicious, authentic Indian food near downtown San Clemente or the San Clemente Pier, this place is a must-visit. Highly recommend Kiaan’s for anyone craving bold Indian flavors — I’ll definitely be back soon!

The Butter Chicken is the best I have ever had and has not had anything better since!! The people care about your experience and are very friendly. It's a place you can bring your friends and have a good time! It does not disappoint!

I'm always pleased by the young gentleman who serves me. He is respectful and knowledgeable about the menu. He can recommend good options based on your preferences. I observed him being undeservedly patient to some rude customers. The food is not bad either. The decor is very nice, on the fancier side. Much better than most indian places I've been to overall.

Wow. Ten stars. The owner Amrit and their manager Araz and the entire staff are so kind. They helped us host a surprise birthday and accommodated our very large party and hosted us like family in their home. Their food was delicious and was made with so much love. It was obvious that the owner is also the amazing head chef. The quality of the Indian food here is unparalleled for all of southern California. It is rare to find such authentic Indian food anywhere. But beyond the food, they run this restaurant like they are inviting you into their own home. The kindness and care for our guests was unbelievable. One guest who was elderly tripped and fell and broke many plates…but the manager and servers quickly attended to the gentleman and made sure he was okay. They didn’t even think about or mention the mess that was made in the event. What a wonderful place and wonderful staff. For anyone who visits - Be patient with these guys. They are amazing and are doing an excellent job at keeping up with the demand for their authentic food. They’re still pretty new so we hope to see them grow and become even more successful. Thank you for a wonderful evening.

Really enjoyed all the dishes here. Made very well and very tasty. Really enjoyed the curry and Tika masala. And the naan bread was awesome! And the staff very friendly, attentive and on point. Highly recommend!

Absolutely amazing buffet! This was our second visit but buffet for the first time. We enjoyed Goat curry and garlic naan. Appetizers were paired with chutneys, sauces and nuts as well as fresh veggies. I highly recommend the buffet. Excellent service also! We will be back again on a Saturday very soon to enjoy Indian Chaat(Street) food along with the regular buffet!!

We absolutely love this place! The food is consistently amazing—fresh, flavorful, and made with care. But what truly makes the experience special every single time is Aaraj. He’s been there since the restaurant opened, and it’s clear he takes immense pride in his work. Not only is he attentive and professional, but he’s also incredibly kind and genuine. He goes above and beyond every time, and we actually get excited to see him when we dine here. We believe he might be the General Manager now (and if not, he should be!), but no matter his title, he brings heart, consistency, and excellence to everything he does. Highly recommend this restaurant—not just for the food, but for the care and service you’ll receive. Five stars all the way! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
